Obituary of Albert George Simpson

Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, in his 88^th year. Beloved husband of the late Loretta (nee Mohan). Loving father of Theresa Schieck (Bill), Deborah Bursey, Stephen (Shelley), Greg (Verna), Maureen Beaune and the late Larry David Simpson. Cherished and proud grandfather of Kerri, Andrew, Stephanie, Scott, Billy, Brent, Michael, Danielle, Nichelle and Ryan. Also sadly missed by his 6 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Rev. Oscar Simpson (Eleanor), Eleanor Shannon (late Ken) and Carol Alexander (Donnie). Albert is predeceased by his sister Jeannette Wilson (late Richard) and by his parents George and Ella Simpson. Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews and their families.

A private family Liturgy of the Word will be held at the Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main St., Odessa, ON K0H 2H0 (613-386-7373) on Monday, February 8, 2021. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Odessa. A Celebration of Albert’s Life will be held at a later date.
