Calvin was a gentle, quiet man. Not that he couldn't have a little devilish in him, but you had to coax him a bit. I have been fortunate to have gotten to know Calvin a little better or the last few months. His health had been failing a bit, and I was there to give him a helping hand. He never complained about anything or anyone. We had quite a few talkes and I am lucky to have gotten to see a deeper side of him. He told me one day that he missed family members, especially his Mom who is ill right now also. Strange to me, but we did talk a bit about faith, and I learned that he did have faith..I am sure now, he is with family, many brothers who have passed before him. Calvin, I am glad that I got to know you a little better. I am sorry however , your life ended too soon. Sincerely, Thetesa Scanlan, sisterinlaw.
