Carmen, Darlene, Chris and Cathy ... we were so very sorry to hear that Jackie passed away. I have many fond memories of times spent with her. I will always remember the times I spent with my favourite cousin going to bingo games or just having a few laughs. She will be missed. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Love Shirleen and Larry

Although I never had the pleasure of meeting Jackie in person, I have met her beautiful granddaughter, Stephanie, and witnessed the great love, respect and admiration that she has for her "Grandma". My sincerest condolences to Jackie's family and friends for the loss of this wonderful lady.

Dear Carm & Family: I am so so sorry to hear about Jackie's passing. I have the warmest memories of Jackie as she was just like a mother to me in my teen years. I practically lived at your house for awhile & Jackie was always so sweet, kind & gentle to me. She always made a person feel special. Jackie would always cook the best meals everyday & share her food with everybody. I am so glad I got to spend some time with her when I came to visit in December. I loved Jackie & I will always remember her as a great lady. My heart goes out to you Carm & you are in my thoughts & prayers always. Sending you my love, Barbara

The first time I met Jackie I was trying on my wedding dress for the first time in her daughter's shop a few years ago...(a nerve wracking experience for any woman!!) I was stressed and certainly didn't feel very beautiful, but then Jackie walked in, looked me up and down and said in a frank, but friendly tone that can only be true sincerity: "my, what a lovely figure you have"....no doubt, she and I were thick as thieves after that and for the rest of my visit. Thank you Jackie for your smile and stories that day, but most especially for your greatest gift to me: your grand-daughter -- who has all your very best features and is the definition of friendship to me. My husband and I look forward to raising a glass in your honour, with your family, on May 9th.
