Obituary of Helen M. Watson (née Luke)

(March 13, 1923 – March 8, 2019)

Another angel has slipped away. Helen will be  sadly missed by her daughters, Gloria Finnbogason (Ken) of Winnipeg and Barbara Stein (Rolf) of Napanee, 5 grandchildren, Shari Finnbogason, Thor Finnbogason (Christine), Derrick Stein (Lisa), Terry Stein (Kelly) and Chris Stein (Jenn), 6 great grandchildren, sister in-law Sarah Hann of Oshawa, as well as several nieces, nephews and friends. Helen was predeceased by her beloved husband of 74 years, Alexander (Rick) Watson on January 16, 2017, infant son Alexander (1958), her parents Alfred and Gertrude Luke of Whitby, sister Inez McSherry and brother Bill Luke. The family extends a warm thank-you to the Connell 10 staff at Kingston Health Sciences Centre for their excellent care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life for our beloved mother will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at her daughters home, 2199 County Road 4, Napanee, from 1-3 p.m. Please join us and bring your happiest memories to honour the love and joy Helen brought to us all. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to UHKF (University Hospitals Kingston Foundation) would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Paul G.
